Dangote said, "My friend who advised me against investing in Nigeria is now taunting me."

Aliko Dangote has said that a companion who cautioned him against putting resources into Nigeria is insulting him now for overlooking his recommendation.


The Leader of Dangote Gathering uncovered this in a meeting with Premium Times on Sunday, July 21.


He allowed the meeting after reports cited the Nigerian Halfway and Downstream Oil Administrative Authority as guaranteeing that diesel from Dangote Processing plant is of mediocre quality.


Responding, Dangote said: "a long time back, one of my exceptionally well off companions started to put away his cash abroad. I contradicted him and encouraged him to reexamine his activities in light of a legitimate concern for his country.


"He put his activity on arrangement irregularities and antics of vested parties.


"That companion has been provoking me in the beyond couple of days, saying he cautioned me and that he has been legitimized."


He said he put resources into the treatment facility to assist with settling a significant issue in the country, as he asked why certain individuals were neutralizing him.


He added, "As you most likely know, I'm 67 years of age. In under three years, I will be 70. I want very little to carry on with the remainder of my life. I can't take the processing plant or some other property or resource for my grave. All that I do is in light of a legitimate concern for my country.


"We have been confronting a fuel emergency since the 70s. This treatment facility can help in settling the issue yet it shows up certain individuals are awkward that I am in the image. So I'm prepared to give up, let the NNPC get me out, and run the processing plant.
