The process is simple ways you can Link your NIN to MTN;


1. Using USSD Code:


A). Dial *966* Your11 digit NIN# free of charge on your MTN line and following the command prompts


B). Enter your 11-digit NIN when prompted.


C). Confirm your submission and wait for a confirmation message.



2. Through the MTN NIMC App:


A). Download the "MyMTN App" from your app store. TO Download the app, Text ‘MyMTN’ to 5018.


B). Log in or register with your MTN number.


C). Navigate to the NIN linking section, input your NIN, and submit.


3. Via MTN’s Website:

A). Visit the official MTN NIN portal (https://nin.mtn.ng).


B). Enter your MTN number and NIN in the provided fields and submit.



4. At an MTN Service Center:


A). Visit the nearest MTN office or accredited agent with your NIN slip and valid identification.


B). Request assistance in linking your NIN to your MTN line.



5. Text NIN- Your 11 digit NIN to 966 and send e.g: type NIN- 12345678999 as a text message and send to 996.


Once the process is complete, you will receive a confirmation message. Ensure that your NIN details are accurate to avoid any disruptions in service.


If your NIN is verified, it's will be link to your MTN SIM registration and you may not need to do anything further. If you encountered issues to verify your NIN you may have submitted, you may need to visit an enrollment center in person for clarity.
