The devil fears Prayer But He's Not Afraid of you if You Don't Have Money - Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo

The Commonwealth of Zion Assembly senior pastor, Reverend Biodun Fatoyinbo said The Devil Fears Prayer, But He’s Not Afraid of You If You Don’t Have Money.

In a thought-provoking sermon, Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo, the Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), delivered a striking message that has stirred conversations among his congregation and beyond.

He emphasized the dual importance of spiritual and financial empowerment in the life of a believer.

Rev. Fatoyinbo began by reiterating the power of prayer, describing it as a formidable weapon against the forces of darkness.

“The devil fears prayer,” he declared, underscoring that a prayerful life is a significant threat to the plans of the enemy. Prayer, according to him, aligns believers with God’s will and unlocks divine intervention in their lives.

However, the sermon took an interesting turn as he highlighted the role of financial stability in a believer's life. “The devil is not afraid of you if you don’t have money,” he stated, suggesting that poverty can limit a person's ability to fully manifest their God-given potential.

He argued that financial resources are essential for fulfilling one's purpose, supporting the church, and making a tangible impact in the world.

Rev. Fatoyinbo’s message encouraged his audience to seek both spiritual and financial growth. He urged them to be diligent in prayer while also pursuing opportunities for financial advancement.

He reminded them that prosperity, when aligned with God's principles, empowers believers to extend their influence and support God's work on Earth.

The sermon sparked diverse reactions, with some praising the balanced approach to spirituality and practical living, while others debated the emphasis on financial success in the Christian journey.

Regardless, it served as a reminder of the multifaceted nature of a fulfilling Christian life—one that thrives on spiritual depth and material sufficiency.
